WHAT IS .925 SILVER?
In order to explain this, we need to start by saying that pure silver is soft, very malleable, and easily dam aged. This is the reason why in jewelry products, pure silver is commonly combined (alloyed) with other metals to produce a more durable product. The most popular of these alloys is sterling silver, which consists of 92.5% silver and 7.5 % copper (925 Silver). This alloy has no meaningful effect in the metal value the price is often influenced in the labor involved and the design of each piece.
We purchase all pieces in good faith from Mexican Artisans that sold us their jewelry as 0.925 silver and, in some pieces, they describe the jewel to have other material as gold, coral, turquoise, pearl, zirconia, etc.
WHAT CAUSES TARNISHING IN YOUR SILVER JEWELRY?
Tarnishing is the loss of luster of your jewelry. This is a result of silver oxidation with oxygen, sulfur, sweat and perspiration, chlorine, even harsh sunlight can tarnish and corrode the brilliant shine you love in your silver. Keep in mind that some of our pieces are intentionally burnt to highlight certain details.
HOW CAN YOU MINIMIZE THE TARNISHING OF YOUR SILVER JEWELRY?
Storing properly by choosing a place with low humidity or preferably airtight. You can also add a packet of silica in order absorb humidity.
WHAT CARE DO I NEED TO HAVE WHEN WEARING MY STERLING SILVER JEWELRY?
In fact, you can avoid tarnishing by wearing your sterling silver Jewelry often this is because our body has natural oils that help to protect and clean the silver. However, if you are putting on lotion/makeup, working out, swimming showering or similar activities we suggest not to wear your jewelry because this can cause Silver to lose its luster.

- Length is measured from top to bottom, including the clasp.
- Width is measured at the widest point.
- Diameter is used when earrings have a round shape.

- Measurement given is diameter. In some cases the ring as a decorative element, where length, width or both are given.
- Chain and bracelets
- Measurement given is length. This measurement is measured always with the clasp.
- Pendant dimensions
- Length is measured from top to bottom including the bail.
- Width is always measured at widest point of the pendant.
